Mad Science in Early Years

During science week we had someone special from the Mad Science company come and make slime with the early years children. They followed the instructions very well and manged to make their own slime to take home. We had so much fun. Have a look.

Workshop: ‘Slime Time’ –

The children were encouraged to explore the difference between physical and chemical reactions and the science behind a simple pot of slime. Children learnt about atoms, bonds and molecules and left the workshop with the ability to identify the difference and a pot of slime!
