World Smile day at Buttercup

Buttercup School created a wonderful and uplifting atmosphere for World Smile Day! Celebrating with colour and smiles not only brought joy to the students but also aligned beautifully with the teaching of kindness in many cultures, including Islam, where smiling is regarded as a form of charity and generosity.

The act of smiling can significantly impact those around us—it can brighten someone’s day, alleviate stress, and foster a sense of community. By encouraging children to embrace the power of a smile, the school is instilling values of compassion and empathy, showing that small acts of kindness can have a lasting effect on others.

Events like World Smile Day are great opportunities to teach children about the importance of positivity and how simple gestures, like a genuine smile, can make a difference in someone’s life. So remember, smile, it’s sunnah!
