Careers Day – Inspiring Future Aspirations

As part of our Careers Day, we were delighted to welcome parents into school to share their professions with our Year 5/6 children. We were fortunate to have a Police Constable and a Clinical Trial Manager speak to the pupils about their careers, providing valuable insight into their roles and responsibilities. Our visitors explained the subjects they studied at school, the pathways they followed into their careers, and what a typical day in their jobs involves. The children were highly engaged throughout the sessions, asking thoughtful questions and participating in meaningful discussions. These experiences help broaden our pupils’ understanding of the many opportunities available to them in the future and encourage them to think about their own aspirations. We are very grateful to our parent volunteers for giving their time and expertise, and we hope that these valuable parent partnerships continue to inspire and motivate our students.
