Buttercup Primary School Admissions Statement
Vision Statement:
At Buttercup Primary School, we are proudly supported by Gardens of Jannah Trust in our mission to create schools that serve as vital pillars of support for the Muslim community. Our goal is to provide every child who enters our school with access to high-quality education and comprehensive welfare programmes. We are committed to empowering the next generation through free education, fostering a sense of belonging, resilience, and community spirit.
Admissions Overview:
1. Free Education for All:
Gardens of Jannah Trust is dedicated to ensuring that education is a fundamental right, and we strive to eliminate financial barriers that may prevent children from receiving quality educational opportunities. For nearly 12 years, we have successfully provided free educational services, positively impacting the lives of countless children and their families within our community.
2. Welfare Programmes:
In addition to academic instruction, we offer a variety of welfare programmes aimed at supporting the holistic development of our students. These programmes include mentorship, counselling, and extracurricular activities that address the diverse needs of our community.
3. School Placement Policy:
Admission to Buttercup Primary School is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. We prioritise families who are on low incomes, those facing asylum, and individuals from underserved backgrounds, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive. Our tailored services and wraparound support empower these children to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
4. Wraparound Care Priority for Working Parents:
We recognise the challenges faced by working parents in balancing professional responsibilities with their children’s educational needs. Application for wraparound care will need to be made directly with the school office. We prioritise wraparound care services that extend beyond regular school hours, including after-school clubs, homework assistance, and holiday programmes. Please see our separate charging policy for further details.
5. Community Engagement:
We actively encourage community involvement and collaboration. Parents, guardians, and community members are invited to participate in school events, volunteer programmes, and decision-making processes to foster a strong sense of community ownership and support.
6. Donations:
To sustain our services and programmes, we welcome donations and rely on the support of local businesses and the community. Your contributions play a vital role in helping us achieve our vision and fulfil our mission. To donate, please contact us at [email protected] or reach out to our office at 02037597408.
