Cambridge University Trip
We are excited to share that our Year 5 and 6 students recently had an inspiring visit to Clare College, part of the prestigious Cambridge University. This outing was an incredible opportunity for our children to experience the world of higher education firsthand and to envision their future academic aspirations!
During the visit, our students toured the beautiful campus, taking in the stunning architecture and rich history of Clare College. They explored lecture rooms, where they could imagine themselves one day participating in their own university classes, and visited the library, which is filled with a wealth of knowledge and resources.
A highlight of the day was a debate workshop where students engaged in a lively discussion on the thought-provoking topic: “Should children go to school?” This exercise encouraged them to express their opinions, build arguments, and collaborate with their peers, fostering critical thinking and public speaking skills.
The trip not only provided insights into university life but also aimed to inspire our students to dream big. We believe that exposure to higher education at a young age can help ignite aspirations for their futures. We’re hopeful that this experience will motivate each child to consider the endless possibilities that academic pursuits can offer.
As we continue to nurture their love for learning and encourage their ambitions, we are grateful for your ongoing support in their educational journeys.
