WORLD HIJAB DAY’

To mark ‘World Hijab Day’ the school councillors at Buttercup Primary School went out to the public bearing beautiful gifts!

Under 100 hijab pieces were handed out to the public by our proud councillors!

It was an amazing way to bond with the         community and many were taken by surprise to be given a scarf for free.

It was a beautiful event showcasing the love we have for women.

The school councillors educated passers-by by explaining how a woman is honoured and seen in Islam, that their intellect is acknowledged   before any physical beauty.
