Voting at Buttercup

The children placed their votes on Thursday. A huge well done to everyone who took part in the election. By voting, the children had the opportunity to have their voices heard and play an active part in making decisions within our school.

Our school council election is a wonderful example of democracy in action. Just like in wider society, children listened to candidates, made their own choices and cast their votes. Every vote mattered!

Congratulations to our new School Councillors. We look forward to hearing your ideas and seeing you represent the voices of your classmates throughout the year.
