Key stage 1 trip to the Young Victoria and Albert Museum
KS1 have been learning about toys and materials from the past in History and Science. During their visit to the V&A Museum, they discovered how toys have changed over time, noticing that older toys were often made from materials like wood and metal, while modern toys use safer, more durable materials such as plastic. They also investigated how the development and adaptation of materials over the years have influenced the way toys are designed and used today. The children had a wonderful day exploring the museum. Thank you to our parent volunteers who supported the class on the day.
