Food week at Buttercup
To end food week with a bang, we arranged a food tasting afternoon where the children made and tasted food from the countries that they have been studying. EYFS tried yummy fruits that grow in China from their made up chines restaurant. Ks1 experienced an English tea party, making cheese sandwiches and eating cakes. Year 3 and 4 made Brazilian tacos with a choice of different fillings. Year 5 and 6 made pani puris, a delicious street food sold in Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
