Food Week – Year 5 and 6

Year 5 and 6 children explored the popular street snack “Pani Puri” (also known as Golgappa and Fushka). They learned about its ingredients, including potatoes, chickpeas, coriander, onions, tamarind sauce, and crispy shells.

The highlight was making it themselves, which they thoroughly enjoyed. This hands-on experience was complemented by learning about cultural unity despite regional differences in names. It was a fun and educational experience that promoted teamwork and appreciation for diverse traditions.
