Spitalfields’s Farm

The Early Years children had an amazing trip to Spitalfields. This trip linked to our topic on ‘Life cycles’. We discovered and explored various animals that we have been discussing during our topic sessions. We were particularly excited to have met and feel a chicken and an egg. This linked to our learning of the ‘Life cycle of a chick’. This was a good opportunity allowing children to see the beginning of the cycle and the end the cycle, enabling children to consolidate their learning.
